Gretchen Walsh is the world-record holder in the 100 butterfly and one of the fastest sprinters in the world. Training under Todd DeSorbo at Virginia alongside Kate Douglass, she is best known for an underwater dolphin kick she trains identically in practice and in racing — twelve kicks off every wall.
